Offer Medical and Dental Professionals More Income Protection!

Principal® is increasing the Individual Disability Income (DI) Insurance Issue and Participation (I&P) limits for Medical and Dental occupations.

For 5A-M, 4A-M and 3A-M occupations between the ages of 18-55, the monthly I&P limits are now:

* Issue: $20,000
* Participation with other IDI: $30,000
* Participation with Group LTD : $35,000
* Future Benefit Increase: up to $17,000

Plus, Orthodontists are now classified as a 4A-M Occupation class!

When will these changes be available?

The IDI new business illustration system will be updated August 20th. However, these limits can be used on new cases, adjustments or cases that were submitted in the last 60 days.
